"One of the biggest problems in baseball has always been to keep your head in the correct position. If I had used the Head Anchor as a training aid when I was playing, my batting average would have been three hundred plus."
- Brooks Robinson
Take your batting position with your head facing the pitcher look at the pitcher while putting the mouth piece in your mouth
For right hand batters, clip the chain to the lower right side of your jersey
For left handed batters, clip the chain to the lower left side of your jersey
Keeping the head in a positive position enables you to follow the ball from pitcher to catcher
If the head is not in a positive position, you will feel the resistance on the chain
When you can't feel the resistance, you are keeping your head in a positive hitting position
Following these rules will allow you to see the ball better and hit the ball more directly.
